What's on the Website
The website currently offers a tin validator and other downloadable tools, with more planned as the
website is under development. Information about the current functionality is shown below.
The Global TIN Validator lets you validate any tax identification
number against regular expression rules within the browser. Though a number of countries do have check
digit algorithms and checks on date of birth as part of the TIN structure, this is not included here.
The formats supported by TheFaxminator is shown in the TIN information cards. The validator will flag
valid or invalid TIN's when a TIN is entered into the validator. There is also a page that shows the
countries currently supported and not supported.
The Other Tools page is where you will find different downloadable
tools you can use. When you select one of these tools, a zip file will be downloaded to your pc. The zip
file includes a pdf user guide and the program to run the tool locally on your machine. Example
functionality available are XML viewer, XSD validator and a downloadable TIN validator. This page will
continue to expand once more tools become available.
